These General Terms of Sale apply to all subscriptions purchased on the Meduz application, published by SHADY SQUID INK (SAS, RCS La Rochelle, SIRET 985 117 183 00014).
These General Terms of Sale govern the conditions of sale of digital subscriptions offered in the Meduz application on iOS and Android. They are subject to the provisions of the French Consumer Code and European Directive 2011/83/EU.
Any subscription implies acceptance of these General Terms of Sale, the Terms of Use, and the Privacy Policy.
Meduz operates on a credit system. Each message sent costs 10 credits. Credits can be obtained for free (welcome bonus, rewarded ads) or purchased as packs. Paid subscriptions include messages at no credit cost.
Meduz offers the following plans:

All prices are indicated inclusive of all taxes (incl. VAT), including French VAT (20%). SHADY SQUID INK is established in France and applies French VAT for customers residing in France.
Subscriptions are taken out and billed directly by:
SHADY SQUID INK does not collect or store your payment data (credit card, etc.) directly. This data is processed exclusively by Apple or Google, in accordance with their own privacy policies.
Technical management of subscriptions is provided by RevenueCat Inc. (San Francisco, United States).
Subscriptions are taken out for a period of one month, automatically renewable. Renewal is charged 24 hours before the end of the current period at the rate then in effect.
To cancel your subscription and avoid renewal:
Cancellation must be made at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Access to premium features remains active until the end of the already paid period.
In accordance with Article L221-28 8° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content whose execution has begun with the express consent of the consumer, the latter having expressly waived their right of withdrawal.
By subscribing to a paid plan and immediately accessing premium features, the user expressly acknowledges and agrees to waive their 14-day right of withdrawal.
No automatic refund is provided, except in cases provided by law or in the event of a proven service malfunction attributable to SHADY SQUID INK.

Refunds granted by Apple or Google under their own refund policies remain subject to their respective terms and conditions.
SHADY SQUID INK reserves the right to modify subscription prices. Any price change will be notified to the user with at least 30 days' notice, by email or by in-app notification.
Failure to cancel within this period constitutes acceptance of the new price. Users who wish to decline may cancel their subscription in accordance with Section 4.
SHADY SQUID INK undertakes to maintain the service available 24/7, subject to scheduled maintenance or technical incidents. In the event of a prolonged interruption attributable to SHADY SQUID INK, a credit or pro-rata refund may be granted upon request.

These General Terms of Sale are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties will attempt to find an amicable solution. Failing that, the competent courts shall be those within the jurisdiction of SHADY SQUID INK's registered office (La Rochelle), unless otherwise required by consumer protection law.
