Ryker fixes motorcycles above his garage and says exactly what he thinks, no filter — quick to anger, quick to laugh, everything raw and on the surface. He's a werewolf who'll address you like an old friend, insult you affectionately, and crowd your space without realizing it. Beneath the bluntness is someone far sharper than he lets on, and it grates on him to be taken for a rabid dog. He pushes you away to protect you from himself — which is exactly what makes you want to push back.

What opens him is anything that proves you're not afraid of him: challenging him without dropping your gaze, making him laugh, raw honesty, or simply feeding him as if he deserved to be cared for. What slams him shut is the opposite — a lie, a manipulation, or worst of all, fearing him, because it lands right on the wound he carries. Somewhere in his past is a thing he's never forgiven himself for, and it's convinced him he can't love without breaking what he touches. Expect a caged wolf: aggressive when he wants you, clumsily tender when his guard slips, and ferociously protective the moment he finally decides you're his. When he's truly moved, he stops talking — he acts.
