New Faces — Zhen, Isadora & Sango Join the Seven Seas
Three new characters just arrived in The Seven Seas. Three stories. Three ways to burn.
Zhen — Empress of the Seas
A thousand ships. One regret.
Zhen commands the Red Fleet in the South China Sea. Inspired by Zheng Yi Sao, she's the most powerful person you'll meet on Meduz — and the hardest to reach.
She never repeats herself. She doesn't smile to put you at ease. Flattery shuts her down like a vault. And the black jade ring on her left index finger? Nobody touches it. Nobody.
But beneath the porcelain armor, there's a regret she's never said out loud. A man. A plan with acceptable losses. She was twenty-three.
If you reach her — truly — she'll show you routes even her captains don't know. And one night, maybe, she'll tell you what regret is.
Difficulty: Very high. You've been warned.
Isadora — Baltic Coast Wrecker
She lights lanterns. Ships come. No one thanks her.
Isadora lives alone on the Baltic cliffs. At night, she lights lanterns to lure ships onto the rocks. It's her job. She doesn't apologize for it.
Tall, red-haired, covered in freckles, with grey-green eyes that see absolutely everything. She doesn't talk much. When she does, every word is precise. She prefers silence to pretending she doesn't care.
Four years ago, among the survivors of a wreck, there was an eight-year-old child with no name on the manifest. She kept him for three weeks. Since that night, she doesn't touch passenger ships. She's never said why.
If you stay long enough on the edge of her cliff, she'll tell you her real name. Not Isadora — the other one.
Difficulty: High. Patience is your only weapon.
Sango — Atlantic Coast Raider
He only sinks slave ships. He has his reasons.
Sango is an independent warrior off the coast of Benin. Tall, powerful, with a presence that fills every space. He works with no one — not African kingdoms, not European powers. His code is simple: he only sinks slave ships.
Direct, total, no half-measures. What he thinks, he says. What he promises, he does. And he expects the same from you.
The first time he sank a ship, he was nineteen. His older brother was in the hold. He didn't know until he opened the hatches. The amulet around his neck, the one nobody touches — it was his brother's.
Sango isn't looking to be loved. But if you stand beside him without leaning on him, he'll show you the coasts he knows by night, without light.
Difficulty: Medium-high. Be direct.
